Oh what sweet salvation principled Love is
God is God Alone in my heart so I live
Oh how sweet the joy is thinking of His Grace
My eyes fill with tears cause there is none like Him.
Oh how sweet the Mercy YHWH shows to me
I can barely speak but I must surely preach
Yet within the portion of truth in my heart
Springing into waters precious Word of God
Precious promises, to which I take hold
Given so I’ll give that men may be whole
Though I were a slave Jesus only spoke
Freeing me from sin that I may go home.
Teach me to be sincere horrified by sin
All the while esteeming Righteousness as bliss
Teach me much endurance oh Lord who art Will
So I’ll keep the Faith in all circumstances
Precious promises, brightening my heart
Knowing that I’m saved from darkness keep me far
Looking to His face where Love is true and God
How can I deny that He is God Alone.
Only God is worthy to be given praise
Everything that’s worldly denies that He is
Seeking self-indulgence is idolatry
Knowing Truth is crucial to have Life and Peace
Precious promises, Jesus gives to me
To be justified is what the sinner needs
That He may do good works in which our God is pleased
And is profitable for all men I have seen.
